I created my business because I am so passionate about HR and all the aspects organizations are dealing with right now in terms of people. The world is more complex than ever with technology, social media, and having multiple generations in the workforce. My goal is to provide meaningful content for my readers and give them some thoughts into how we as a society are dealing with so many hot topics in the workforce and quite frankly in our personal lives as well.
So alittle about me... I'm 47 years old and can honestly say I have lived a very diverse life. I'm a strong believer in personal growth so I never stop growing myself. I have almost 30 years of experience in the business world and in many facets of it. I owned my own business for 7 years so I know the challenges owners face when dealing with meeting customer demands and driving sales for profit. I started in HR over eight years ago and I think from day one I loved it. I started as just a basic HR clerk I guess you could say. Doing payroll, processes loads of paperwork, and dealing with safety issues was my main job.
I'm excited to say that after alot of hard work, sacrifice, and yes some sweat and tears, I am at a position of value in my field. I have moved into more strategic roles in HR, from developing strategies and training programs to enable companies to retain employees and bring excellent products to their customers.
I will admit, I am a geek when it comes to reading up on the latest trends and happenings going on in the HR world and I am excited to be able to bring it to my viewers so you can benefit from all the wealth of information out there.
